M16 Interconnected Entry Handle Set
The
M16 Series Interconnected Entry Handle Set offers a distinctive approach to
entrance door hardware, pairing a separate exterior handle assembly with a
full-length interior escutcheon. This contrasting trim arrangement creates a
more defined exterior appearance while maintaining a clean, unified look
inside.
Designed
for everyday entrance use, the M16 combines a tubular latch and deadbolt with
an interconnected operating mechanism. Both locking points can be released
through a single-motion operation, making entry and exit more convenient

Overview
The
M16 features the F102 handle set trim configuration, distinguished by its
sectional exterior handle trim and long-plate interior trim. The exterior
arrangement provides a more segmented visual profile than a conventional
full-length handleset plate, making it an alternative for projects with
specific architectural design preferences.
Inside
the lockset, the tubular latch and deadbolt work through an integrated
interlock mechanism. This coordinated design allows both to disengage together
during the designated operating motion, simplifying door operation.
Available
in stainless steel and brass constructions, the M16 supports a range of
material and finish requirements. It is designed to meet ANSI/BHMA A156.12
Grade 1 performance requirements and has been tested for over 800,000 cycles.
UL/cUL 10C-listed configurations are available for 3-hour fire-rated door
assemblies, subject to the applicable listing and assembly requirements.
