01 / OVERVIEW

Overview

The DG29 Classroom Dead Lock meets ANSI/BHMA A156.13 requirements and Grade 1 performance for heavy-duty use. Its cycle performance exceeds the Grade 1 requirement for doors subject to frequent operation.

The lock case and internal components are made of stainless steel, providing resistance to corrosion and wear while supporting long-term daily use. The robust construction is suited to demanding educational and institutional environments.

The classroom function allows the deadbolt to be retracted from the inside but prevents from being projected from the inside. This provides controlled locking for classroom and other institutional doors while allowing the door to be unlocked from the inside when needed.

The DG Series uses a common multifunction mortise lock body that supports 10 functions and fits multiple door thicknesses and both wood and metal doors.

UL listed for up to 3-hour fire-rated openings, the DG29 is suitable for classrooms, schools, universities, training facilities, offices, and other institutional applications.
