DG16 Double Cylinder Dead Lock is a Grade 1 mortise lock for heavy-duty
commercial and institutional applications. It meets ANSI/BHMA A156.13
requirements, with cycle performance exceeding the Grade 1 requirement. The
stainless steel lock case and internal components provide strength and
corrosion resistance. UL listed for up to 3-hour fire-rated openings.

01 / OVERVIEW
Overview
The DG16 Double Cylinder Dead Lock meets ANSI/BHMA A156.13 requirements and Grade 1 performance for heavy-duty use. Its cycle performance exceeds the Grade 1 requirement for doors subject to frequent use.
The lock case and internal components are made of stainless steel, providing strength and resistance to corrosion and wear. Its durable construction supports repeated daily operation in commercial and institutional buildings.
The DG16 features cylinders on both sides, allowing the dead lock to be operated by key from either side of the door. This double-cylinder configuration provides controlled locking for doors where key operation from both sides is required.
The DG Series uses a common multifunction mortise lock body for 10 functions and fits multiple door thicknesses and both wood and metal doors.
UL listed for up to 3-hour fire-rated openings, the DG16 is suitable for offices, schools, healthcare facilities, government buildings, banks, and other applications requiring controlled access and reliable security.
