Overview

The DG12 Dormitory or Exit Lock meets ANSI/BHMA A156.13 requirements and Grade 1 performance for heavy-duty use. Its cycle performance exceeds the Grade 1 requirement for doors subject to frequent use.

The lock case and internal components are made of stainless steel, providing strength and resistance to corrosion and wear. The durable construction is suited to repeated daily operation in high-traffic areas.

The DG Series uses one multifunction mortise lock body for 10 functions, including entry, classroom, storeroom, privacy, passage, and deadlock. The lock body fits multiple door thicknesses and both wood and metal doors.

UL listed for up to 3-hour fire-rated openings, the DG12 is suitable for dormitories, student housing, schools, colleges, offices, healthcare facilities, and other commercial and institutional applications.
