DD18 mortise lock – Dead Lock
The DD18 Dead Lock is an ANSI/BHMA A156.13 Grade 1 mortise lock for heavy-duty commercial applications. The lock case and internal components are made of stainless steel for strength and corrosion resistance. 01 / OVERVIEW
Overview
The
DD18 Dead Lock complies with ANSI/BHMA A156.13 and meets Grade 1 requirements
for heavy-duty use. Its cycle performance exceeds the Grade 1 requirement,
making it suitable for high-traffic doors.
The
lock case and internal parts are stainless steel, providing good resistance to
corrosion and wear. The construction is intended for repeated daily use in
commercial buildings.
The
DD Series uses a common mortise lock body for 10 functions, including entry,
classroom, storeroom, privacy, passage, and deadlock. The lock body fits wood
or metal doors and is available for different door thicknesses.
UL listed for up to 3-hour fire-rated openings, the DD18 can be used in commercial and institutional buildings where a heavy-duty mortise lock is required.
