DD17 mortise lock – Dead Lock
The DD17 Dead Lock meets and exceeds ANSI/BHMA A156.13 requirements and Grade 1 cycle performance for heavy-duty applications. Stainless steel components provide strength and corrosion resistance for long-term use. The lock body supports 10 functions within the DD Series, allowing the same basic design to be used across different door applications. UL listed for up to 3-hour fire-rated openings.

01 / OVERVIEW
Overview
The
DD17 Dead Lock is designed and tested to ANSI/BHMA A156.13 requirements, with
Grade 1 performance for heavy-duty commercial and institutional applications.
It exceeds the required cycle performance and is suitable for doors subject to
frequent use.
The
lock case and internal components are made of stainless steel for improved
strength and corrosion resistance, with durable construction for long-term
operation.
The
DD Series uses one multifunction lock body for 10 functions, including entry,
classroom, storeroom, privacy, passage, and deadlock. The lock body is suitable
for multiple door thicknesses and both wood and metal doors.
UL listed for up to 3-hour fire-rated openings, the DD17 is suitable for commercial and institutional applications where durable construction and added security are required.
